Samaritan House staff members Katherine Ashford (Community Outreach Coordinator) and Eva Fuze (Marketing and Events Coordinator) had the opportunity to be featured by WTKR Channel 3 earlier this week to talk about the Paint 757 Purple campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Katherine and Eva met at G. Patton Salon with salon owner Sabrina, who is one of our participating Paint 757 Purple businesses. Ashley, owner of La Boheme Aveda Concept Salon, was also there to share about why her salon is also participating in the campaign! Ashley and Sabrina talked about teaming up as local Hampton Roads salons to take a stand against Domestic Violence. Ashley shared that a fellow employee at La Boheme recently went through a court case for a family member who was a survivor of domestic violence, so the issue was near and dear to their hearts.
