Every Saturday in October, 10% of the proceeds from every haircut, for men or women, will be donated directly to the Samaritan House. Clients will also be able to make individual donations, and be able to write their name or a personal message on a purple donation card that will be displayed around the shop. Come in and get your purple streak and make a donation to Samaritan House! Our Executive Director, Robin Gauthier, got her purple streak at Marshall’s at the beginning of the month!

Chick’s Oyster Bar has hosted kick-off parties and events for us in the past, and supported us in the community for many years. You can also sign donation cards and learn more about Samaritan House and specifically learn about the way Samaritan House is helping keep victims of violence and human trafficking connected with their pets!

Serenity Spa & Salon offers a variety of massages that can be customized to your specific aches and pains. Owner Amber is a former nurse, and this background helps provide a therapeutic massage whether the style is sports, deep tissue, Swedish or traditional. Serenity Spa & Salon generously donated three hour-long massages as raffle items to Samaritan House this month, as well as goodie bags with scrubs, soaps and natural bath products. All month long, they are offering $10 from every lavender scrub add-on to a massage or spa package as a donation to Paint 757 Purple.

Two Men and a Truck have been a longtime supporter and community partner of Samaritan House, most recently teaming up for their “Movers for Moms” initiative around Mother’s Day. They are also helping to promote and fundraise for Samaritan House with donations and purple days at the office.
