On February 8th, WAV members, Samaritan House staff and women in the community gathered inside the cozy Muse Paintbar in Town Center, Virginia Beach to network, sip wine, enjoy some delicious food, and paint their own masterpiece to take home, all in support of the work Samaritan House does in the community to end violence!

Take a peek of some of the fun we had at our “Share Some Love” Paint night:

Women Against Violence, (WAV) is a select group of community leaders and professionals committed to supporting Samaritan House’s mission to stop violence; whether domestic, sexual or trafficking. Each spring, WAV hosts a luncheon to encourage survivors of violence, and empower supporters to take action and become advocates for change. This year’s WAV Luncheon has officially been set for Friday May 18th, so save the date and contact evaf@samaritanhouseva.org if you’d like more info! There will be opportunities to sponsor tables and other aspects of this fun, impactful event.

If you’d like to learn more about WAV specifically, and what it means to become a member, please reach out to Sarah Golden, our WAV Chairwoman and an active member of Samaritan House Governing Board: sarahgolden@thegbsgroup.us
