Loss of Innocence

Presented by Samaritan House & WTKR News 3

Airing Sunday, June 23, at 8 p.m. on WTKR News 3

LI FB event (1).pngDuring the COVID pandemic, Samaritan House began a partnership with WTKR Channel 3 to produce and air informative televised events that raise awareness and help fundraise to further our mission.

For the fifth year, we are producing Loss of Innocence in conjunction with WTKR which will focus on the online dangers posed to youth in our digital age. This show will examine online bullying, gaming and extortion happening to young people in our community. The WTKR investigative team will delve into this issue, speaking to survivors, experts, its impacts and how parents can navigate the evolving digital world.

Host a "Loss of Innocence" Watch Party

Samaritan House invites you to host a watch party on the night of Sunday, June 25th. Watch parties can be small or large, thrown by an individual, a group of friends, or a business. Think creatively. You can use a projector to stream the telethon outside, set up televisions in multiple rooms, and most importantly help drive conversation about the show and Samaritan House’s need for support. Together, our goal is to get as many people throughout Hampton Roads as possible to watch the Loss of Innocence televised event live.  Download our watch party guide HERE or contact Kate Celius via EMAIL or phone at (757) 323-6164 to get involved.
